Daniel Sedin who was actually injured, should be ready for the playoffs which is actually in two weeks! He did not play ever since March 21, when Duncan Keith had elbowed Daniel Sedin who had suffered from a concussion. He leads the team with 30 goals, and is second on the team , with 67 points

Interesting Facts on the Canucks
So I thought it would be interesting to post some facts on the Canucks. So here it is
The Canucks name was actually derived from a man named Johnny Canuck, who was a Canadian folk hero. He was a logger, skater and a hockey player

Henrik and Daniel Sedin own their own racehorse in Sweden.
Canucks fans have actually been voted by Spike TV to be the 5th most annoying of all sports teams and the most irritating team in the NHL (WOW i think its because the fans are very passionate of the team)
Canuck is actually a slang word for "Canadian"
H. Sedin wants the NHL to have Harsher Penalties
When the five game suspension was given to Duncan Keith when he elbowed Daniel Sedin, the captain of the Canucks, Henrik Sedin was not too pleased. He does not think that missing a few games will change a player's behaviour. He thinks its all about respect, which I totally agree with. H. Sedin believes that tougher penalties will get rid of all this. But it makes sense. If elbowing, charging or boarding is hurting the team, one will stop all this. However, two or three days of game suspension is not going to help. I agree with Henrik Sedin. Some changes must be made. What do you think?

Vancouver Canucks blank Colorado Avalanche
With five games remaining in the regular season, the Canucks have stretched their winning streak to four games and won in a shutout against Colorado, 1-0. Cory Schneider had stopped 43 shots and recorded his third shutout, while last Monday, Luongo made his fourth shutout of the season with a 1-0 victory against the Los Angeles Kings.
Luongo or Schneider?
After 3 straight wins for Vancouver, it is evident Luongo is on a roll. However, will he keep this up for the playoffs? If Luongo disappoints the Canucks once again during the playoffs, will we see a drastic change in Vancouver this summer? Do you think that if Luongo's once again "chokes" his long-term contract will be moved and turned over to Schneider? As a Canucks fan, I hope Luongo will be holding the cup over his head this year! However, after a 38 save and 1-0 shutout for Luongo against the Kings, he will be watching Schneider play tonight against Colorado Avalanche.

Will the Streak Continue?
With Luongo's fourth shutout this season he has made 38 saves. Daniel Sedin who has recovered from his concussion, was able to play today's game against the Kings. Manny Malholtra, however, was able to score the game's lone winning goal. The Canucks had made the 100-point barrier for the fourth season and with two more points they can be first in the league.
